Thanks for sharing that info , i see you running most of your rear hooks facing done on those lures. Have you had a better success rate on hook ups doing it this way ?
I can only assume as i have never rigged the hooks this way , but i would of thought the hook would just push up against the body of the lure and not stand proud having less hook ups ? If the fish swallows the lure it wouldn't make a difference , but if it bites the tail of the lure it would just push the hook forward and into the body of the lure ......
Interested if they were setup for the bream feeding in a particular way or this is how you generally run your hooks , i might be missing a trick and will try your setup .

it is a little trick i learnt from Ed at NBO and John Cahill from Ebbtide tackle. it also does not hamper the lure action as a point of a hook will always try to face down , i noticed on my last trip to Zanzibar that my Orion Bigfoot 170grm was not swimming correctly and saw that i had the hook facing up (excitement factor was high
) , soon as i changed it to face down like i normally have it the lure kicked like it should.
everyone has their preference on hook setup but i found better hook up ratio and less eye hooking on fish.
John has made a video of rigging lures for geets but this can be used on any type of lure and any fish.
