Guys - first up - an apology - basically came through the "back door " to this Site - signed up, placed an new topic and received loads of help - and now I come to say Hello. Eish - sorry.

This is an awsome Site - I work on Construction all over Africa - so this Site is like breast milk to a baby for me - it keeps me going and can't wait to ride that Yeld again. Cheers.

Hallo Kalaharikid

Yes , do mostly ski boat now - have older Purglass Graphite rods  - and all the beach gear you need - hanging in the garage - gathering dust - was nearly attacked at Kwambo ramp - and I had to take a couple of pot shots at the 5  - I call it "evasive action" - used to love beach fishing, still do - but it is dangerous when I take the boys with - so now I go deap sea and now more hassles with people trying to out flank you . I used to fish LTB - Light Tackle Boat (4 kg) with Meerensee but because I work as an expat all over mostly Africa I have stopped - caught some nice Grunter of Pelican though. Thanks for Khans details - I will contact him. Regards.

Thanks Big Mat - maybe will find you on the water sometime.  What's happening on the ocean - coming down for the 21 Specie - and trying to find out what's going on where.

Regards. Johan

I think we will do a day fish this time in the next two weeks, the pampano are still comeing out there and the salmon should start to show up with the shad,

Thanks Rods - must say my beach fishing skills is a bit rusted - have not fished on the beaches for a long time. Afraid of the criminal element when taking my boys along - Mostly ski boat now - but have all the beach tackle. I will stay in touch through this Forum. Thanks for the words of Welcome.
