New to drop shot

Hi guys

Just a quick question. I am new to drop shot fishing and will be trying my hand at Bhanga Nek in December. Now, do you think that a 7" Shimano Scimitar with a Shimano Sedona 2500 will do the job?

That will do the job just fine. Mabye even swop the Sedona for the Slade 2500 and use the extra cash on Fireline and lures
