Pretty flash looking, and certainly a great looking Jigging reel too.....

Be interesting to hear the reviews on it once its released and been tested....

looks like daiwa is going after the shimano torsa, cant fault the spec of the reel, except for gear ratio maybe a bit fast on the single speed jobbies. i love the look of the thing

Max drag is 12kg, was surprised though, thought it would be slightly more. Looks like a good reel, wonder how it would perform in surf? I noticed nothing was mentioned about centrifugal brakes...

stardrag version of that reel will kick butt!!! for the boat boys that is a sweet reel, wonder what gearing it has, forged like the saltiga or or cast like the saltist

Its only launching in the USA next month. Think it will be a couple of months before we see one

I spoke to K.F. yesterday and they say they are well aware of this model but they do not intend on bringing it in!

My mate who consults for Daiwa UK had a couple of them out on the boat the other week. Lovely reels very smooth but not convinced about the braking for casting.
