New Penn Torque

Well I have compared them all and fished the reels hard,
When you get to this level of reel quality its extremely hard to choose a favorite, if PENN could make a 50 size I would have the complete range without doubt, they are the best casting reel that I have fished with and that takes alot. Also I have a soft spot for PENN as it was the first multiplier reel I learnt to fish with, PENN 500 Jigmaster....19 year ago and I still have it somewhere.......and it still works.....
I am just pissed they dont make a 50, but i havent been taught a lesson yet on the 40, if it does happen there will be a serious intense letter going to the states.....

The Penn Torque is going to be a bit more expensive than than the new Trinidad 30A. But it is an awesome reel,Penn is also bringing in a 5 Piece rod in a tube also called the Torque.

As mentioned before, I'm little bias to the PENN brand as I have grown up with maintenance free fishing for years,...but to be totally honest both reels are great for Shark fishing,
The drag for me is tops, those little Black-fin sharks +-50kgs dont take line...if you are fishing on a secure platform where you can hit and hold you can cause a serious sore jaw issue for most fish......but becareful fishing for giant fish and locking that drag up, it can be dangerous, it will pull you in the water......

My apologies, the very noisy reel i mentioned wasnt the torque, it was the 555 replacement. But a sample so noisier than it should be apparently
