Just got my Abu Garcia Veritas rod with a Quantum KVD Tour reel! Can't wait to test them! Has anyone fished with any of the above, would like to hear what you think about them!

I had an Abu Vengeance Combo with the Black Max Reel. So cant really comment much... I would love to know how you find the reel , as I have been humming and haiing about which reel to invest in... Would love to know what your experience of the reel and rod is and wish all the best with your Xmas present...

Hi Ryanie,

i had to chose between the blackmax, revo s, pt tour and the KVD Tour. It felt the best to me along with the veritas rod. I made a few casts last night at the dam and it feels excellent. Can't wait to hook a fish and feel what it's like. Will let you know.
