New Bazookas???

Hi chaps ..

I want to ship a couple of things to the states in FEB .

want to get some reasonaly priced rods... i understand there is a new bazooka model out... are they any good .. and how much are they going for ..

oh and NB .. what is the test curve on them..

PS. I wish there were more online shops in SA... with no stywe lyne and bank angler i am outa sight outa touch...

Hi Gertus,

Spoke to Feroze at Solomons and he said the test curve on a 12 ft Bazooka was 3.5lb.

After a long year of hard work I rewarded myself with 4 of these new 12ft Bazookas and they really look great. I had the old Bazookas and I was very happy. The latest rods are manufactured from improved graphite and have very nice cork grips. The first eye sits on the bottom end of the upper piece of the two piece rod enabling "improved casting distance". They retail at R690.00 each.

Hope that helps a bit with your decision.

Gertus, I have the new Bazooka's in 12 ft....cast a P5 and small ball from yesterday all the way to tomorrow, hehehe....
