Need Advice

Hey Sea-liners,

I have just bought myself the Sensation Rockets 13 ft rods and Shimano ST 10000 reels for them.

I am told that these rods can get extreme casting distances if the correct line etc is used, any views or advice on how to achieve this goal will be highly appreciated.

I know the people who fish with them like to use a heavy sinker with ball to load it properly. Line used is normally 7lb with 20lb leader line.

I would say it is not the line or tools that gives you the best distance but rather perfecting your casting technique. Just my 2 cents

i fully aggree with you its how you can cast , but some people also say that the line is important.

Yes, the thinner the line further you will cast with any rod.

See Naruto's posts he has the same rods and also asked and posted a lot of info on these rods.

My next set of rods will also be the bazookas
