Check out the classifieds Mo.

How's your fishing been lately?
Sean and I a little quiet off the fishing ski's.

If you recall, we met you on the beach at Blue lagoon one weekend with our ski's.

Cheers
Tim

Nothing wrong with the M68 - its an entry level combo unit that does what its supposed to, the entry level units in 2010 are not that much better than those from 2007 its mainly new packaging but the guts are the same!! Not everyone has the money for HDS/LCX/sidescan units and a lot of the people who have them don't even know how to use them or don't even need them for the type of fishing they are doing. Give me a R2000 sounder and a R1500 handheld and I will catch just as much bait/couta/snoek/bonnies as the next guy who has R23000 worth of electronics.

Right on. Me dont want to spend too much time fiddling with a combo unit

Accepted. but you cxan buy the Lowrance Elite for R7600.00 with a 5" screen complete with transducer and it is 100 times better that the M68 at R5500.00.

My opinion.

Agreed! but if i am fishing off a paddle ski I think even a entry level black and white with a hand held would be enough!! Besides that after 3 years fishing froma ski you going to buy a ski boat and a better finder!!! LOL

My argument is for less that R2000 you can have a 100 x better system with colour screen etc etc etc
