Hey Man,

Thats a great boat - if its the ol Malibu / Impala Hull, I had one too.  A solid hull and very very stable on the water.  Mine had water-logged foam under the deck so a bit heavy, but with hydrofoil fins / doel fins on her 60Hp Yammie she popped out like a cork onto the plane.   See photo of my old one below...

Happy boating,

Gilly

Oh boy, that boat is flippen pretty,i still have to rip that old floor out and  put  foam in ,and all that  jazz!

I'm considering building a new trailer for this one, move the wheels a bit forward so  it it will tow a bit lighter!(and the old one is a bit GAAR)Got big plans for the boat, but itsgonna cost a few bokke, nothing is for free i guess, not even petrol???????!!!!!!

Did you rebuild the boat yourself or did you take it to someone to do it for you?I'm going to take mine to a panelbeater for sanding and painting,i'll do the woodwork and fibreglassing myself.

We did most of the fittings and trimmings ourselves, but the painting was done by a panel beater as well - but wasn't really a good job.

Best to try to do as much as possible yourself. We've now sold that one and I have a new one which I am working on myself - its a work in progress but looking good so far - hope to have it ready before the end of this month in time for a tiger fishing trip to Cahroa Bassa 1st weekend of May.  Re-painting, upholstering, service etc, etc, nothing major 'cos the boat is pretty much in good condition and fully equiped.  Got it from a guy on this forum in fact - see photo below.

Cheers

Gilly
