My little borther and I went Bass fishing at Murra

I forgot to mention that the previous fish had all three hooks stuck in his mouth... No way he was coming off 
He was that small LMAO
Anyway, this was my biggest fish for the day, and caught on my favourite Storm Lure.
If any of you have not been to Murray park and intend on going there, spinners are the way to go.

Thanks Ryan, it was a good day and right after a massive rain storm the day before, so I was surprised. Now I am just waiting for my friend LGF and JohanVC to k@k me out for not phoning them... Sorry ouks!!!
Here are some tips for Murray park if you are a bank angler.
1. Use a spinnerbait, any spinnerbait
2. Fish on the road between the two dams. It's on the western bank of the big dam
3. Get wet. Wade in knee deep, but wear shoes, there are broken bottles.
4. When wading, fish parralel with the bank as well.
5. Move around, the bank pressure is pretty big at Murray Park, but most people fish with flukes. From what I could see, us with spinners (Inline and other) were the only guys to pull fish on the day.

You gonna fall in love with them Tigers. Start stocking up on Rapala's and spoons now. The Magnums (I think 11cm ones) work well, in just about any colour. But metal spoons work brilliantly too.

Ja, must never forget the Bream, especially Nembwe. We find 3-spot here in Gabs mainly, still pretty good fun on my light tackle.
Best you bring back a full report bru, or even better, call me when you in Gabs and we can go have a few beers at the Bull and Bush and you can show me them pics

Yep, Fished there as lighties- MAinly bottlenose - but it is one helluva hairy climb down and back out - wet black Volcanic rock and many meters drop.
BEst place to fish was the islands on the Lip of the Falls - yellow bream (robustus) and several other were always numerous and beeg there. The paddle above Devils cataract to the islands was a little interesting as there was no room for error - the ol man when he started getting nervous used to shout "ROW BOY ROW"
Good times I miss them - that was before they fenced the falls and it was still a wild n wooly place - we also used to go up to the chobe by boat from the falls - that was exciting stuff too......... Hippos in those days were thick and the tiggers many - it was back in the good ol days when they shot at the gill netters.............
