Sorry for late reply. Thats a fantastic fish Iwan, the look on your ons face is priceless. Looks like he is hooked for life. Great for the sport! As a congratulations I would love to send you and your son some h Catfish Africa caps and decals as a congratulations to you both. I think we can all agree that the best way to grow our sport is to get the young ones involved

Many thanks for the great gesture. My son, Ruben also sais thanks a lot.

We are packed and off to the Vaal again tomorrow for the weekend. Been scouting and found an excellent deep water spot 35km below Parys. Nice wild water with no fishing pressure.

Will be testing some new 8ft "Catfish" rods combined with 650B Alveys. Hope the weather plays along and that we can
better this one for him. If we manage some nice cats I will post some pic's.

Will also make an effort to take photos of some of the rigs I use, as some guy's have asked.
