My First Shad

My son Aiden caught his first shad last week and is now hooked.

Zulujnr may have a point. It may be my lack of depth perception but both those fish do not appear to be the same size. One appears to be bigger by a third.

My son was also hooked solid after his first shad.

Nowadays he is a true ambassador of the ocean, who consistently outfishes the older guys; and is a source of knowledge for us when it comes to new techniques, species identification and rules and regulations.

Cold 1...??? Not at all Deezyner... did you see the pic mr zulu posted the day before this, on another thread "guess the shad are around"? - about 30 shad in a pile?
