Harold

Never needed any proof, I fished lures for years, has always been my passion.
What does scare the hell out of me is that the bug has bitten ... AGAIN ... and for that there's Mastercard

About the powder coating

Where I buy it I am sorry but I won't share that info, will never risk losing my access to that supplier.

Then further, you have to buy in quantities that you would not be able to use up even if you made bucktails commercially.

I had to buy that way, that's how they sell it.

I am however prepared to share some of my powder with fellow lure anglers, by supplying it in smaller quantities if there is interest.

Note that this is not a commercial venture, I will help others while I recover some of the money I had to spend on buying the stuff and having it couriered to me.

If you are interested let me know, will check plastics warehouse to see the size of the containers.

Keep in mind that there will be courier costs aswell, maybe something like postnet will work out cheapest - counter to counter

As for the "bucktail", well it's not really bucktail, it's a synthetic type of material that's much cheaper than bucktail, I get it from the local tackle shops

Fishing has been slow, purely due to lack of time and dedication from my side,
that said, I have made a few lures to keep me busy

Since my last post I got the following
- proper bucktail
- "proper" synthetic bucktail (the yellow in the pics below)
- proper tying thread
- a fly tying vice
- oven for the power coating baking process
- silicone for making the bucktail jig molds

And some other stuff aswell.

Will probably make a youtube video about the whole process, will still see, much easier than trying to document it with photos
