Laaste toetse wat ek gister gedoen het was 160m met 4bar. Enige iets meer as dit breuk meeste van die bomme op tensy mens koekmeel byvoeg. Ek het nog nie kans gekry om hom te toets met lyn aan nie, maar ek glo dit sal nie n probleem wees nie. Ek het talle videos op die interweb gekry van ouens wat aas inskiet. Ek sal seker oor 2 naweke kans kry om behoorlik dit te toets.

Remember to cement all parts properly and let dry for at least 24 hours before first test. I used Marley PVC pipe and sections as it is good quality. Some products looked very flimsy to me so I stuck to SABC approved stuff. On some of my first tests I started off with 1bar pressure, then 2bar etc. I would not recommend going past 6bar, although I have gone up to 7.5bar quite a few times. Still have to test the new version at 6bar and a potato...
Here is a pic of the valve section. Note that this is still 1/2" valve. After upgrading to a 1" valve I get better distance with less pressure.
Not quite sure, but I did experiment quite a lot to. You should be able to make a decent cannon with less that R250.

Naruto jy het nou iets hier begin ek dink ek moet dit n go gee en ook een maak, ek het mos nou ophou rook so as ek my hande besig hou sal dit 'n goeie ding wees. Se my watter tipe sal jy gebruik by die water?

I started off with a thicker pipe, but had a mission getting the interface/reducer the way I liked it. So I changed to the 50mm for the reservoir as well. What I like about it, it is nice and light and easy the arry around.

AH! Finally found the perfect amo for the Bombzooka! Plasticland in Woodmead and Pretoria sell these(transparent) for R2 each. Fit nicely in the barrel. Just a few holes on top. Incorporate into trace, fill with dry feed and shoot! Now I really have to go test it with a rod attached. I am sure it will reach past 200m.
BTW: I modified the Bombzooka again. Will post pics and maybe a video as soon as I get a chance.
