Mustad Z-Steel vs Demon Circles

Hi All,

I was wondering if the Mustad Z-Steel and Demons are both suitable for large sharks? I have been making my traces with the Z-Steel (11/0 or 10/0) but came across the Demons on the weekend and have made up a few traces with them (10/0).

The Point of the demons is much longer, but i am wondering whether the gap between the long point and the shank is not too small? Are they supposed to be used for something else? The demons look like seriously mean hooks though!

i have the new z steel circles , but the lite wire , very good hooks , in my opinion for eds that is!

The light gauge hooks are nice to get that bait of the bottom , we have fished about 10 trips myself with tthe light gauge hooks , and the rest of the guys normal heavier gauge circles , i outfished them only because of the hook being lighter , well thats my opinion anyway !
The gap in some circles are too small ,yet agian in MY opinion . I have heard that the guys bend then a bit more open , also i have seen this on Tarpon fishing DVDS , they say that large fishes jaw bone are to 'thick' and the circle can do what its suppose to do !

i think theres a post some where , were this has been disussed !

Ja the Z-steel has a decent gape, but the demon looks very small. I think it is probably not suitable for bigger fish.
