So, hows your diaries looking for the weekend of 11 May chaps?
It's a very good lure to try. No.... it's fantastic.
I have caught about 10 Bass ranging from 400g - 1.2kg on it and only then did I need to change the tail/grub/plastic thingy
It comes with 3 plastic tails. After catching a bass or two on it you need to re"tune" it so it runs straight and off you go. Don't burn it in because it just rolls over. Nice and easy does it.
I find it works best in slightly stained water, but I have caught 1kg+ fish in very clear water with it as well.
Next time I am in SA, I will be buying a few of them in different colours as I want more for spares and a few that is slightly darker
As soon as I am bored enough I am going to pit it against a spinner bait. Me with this and my fishing buddy with any spinner bait of his choice. I want to see if it outfishes it... I know I will never get a conclusive answer, but it will be fun to see how well it performs when a spinnerbite is on.
