Would love to come up there and fish with you guys soon... whats the fishing like at the moment... I might have to be in Dubai in two weeks for a shoot.... if I'm gonna be all the way there, might be worth staying an extra couple days if you think the fishing is worth a shot??? Let me know, I can bring the RF's for testing!

Sounds good. Give me a shout with your dates and we can make a plan. We fish until early June, but there are some big fish around at the moment so well worth a day out to bend the back a bit!

Got a call from Falk last night and he is here end of the month so good to have a few visitors!

Lekker , seems I will be there around the same time as Old Falkenberg if the job gets confirmed... this damned Volcano in Iceland is causing chaos for us.... already had a shoot cancel because of it which sucks...

Most likely if I do come up, it will be arriving Sunday 2nd May and shooting at the Ski Dome on the 3rd/4th and I then might stick around for a day or two to get some fishing in...
Will drop you a mail and confirm things and dates as soon as I know....

Is the Bald Feather Chucker still about? Would be good to see him again too.

Cant stop the tears...............life is not fair.


Ok now that the majority of tears have subsided,just one or two questions to Ocean Active, when joining the 300lbs leader and the braid ,what knot did you/they use.I note that despite the diameter,all the leaders in the pics where the fish have been landed,are definately of such length that the knot should/could be on the reel when casting.

Would really appreciate it ,once again ,awesome cathes.
