Hi

I am really jacked up for this weekend even though i think im being a bit over enthusiastic. MAinly because ive never fished in a long time and because ive heard that the shad/elf is regularly runnind down the coastline. I've also personally seen nice size galjoen coming out at broken roads and baileys.

At baileys walk the path towards kalkbay until the set of steps, follow through to the rocks and position yourself on the rock extending furthest out to see. saw guys bagging nice galjoen there.

At broken roads to the right od the sewer pipe cast about +/- 20m in and there too is a GALLIE GAT!!!:wfish

Anybody have any advise for the weekend , spots, times whether day or night, please please please advise........

Stuiwe lyne

lets bag it this weekend

went out on sunday afternoon with no luck........ :-( but my one of my buddies caught a nice 50cm elf at the fridge.

Also i read the peoples post yesterday where it was documented that a lucky fishermen baggged himself a 14kg steenbras. From what i made out the locomotive wasnt steamed up as the fight wasnt that long and hard. Right place at the right time i guess.

Does anyone have any additional information on this?

Well done Kaashief, dont give up hope. You must try Monwabisi too,off the rocks behind the pool,9 out of ten times that i've been there that spot always produce. So maybe u should give it a try.Fresh bait always works best, bloodworm, chokka and sardine works best for me there.Stywe lyne bro.
