Heading up to Umlalazi on 21 November for the weekend and having never been there before I was looking for a few pointers from people that have.  Will be looking at drop-shotting in the estuary and throwing a bait in the surf for edibles.  Any information would be most welcome.

Geez Wart, judging by the flood of replies it seems like there must be no internet in Mtunzini. What did you get ?

We actually canceled as firstly I wasn't too well and secondly they have stopped all launching into the river for the months of November and December due to some movie being shot up there.  We just felt that it would possibly be a waste and didn't know how our movements would be restricted with the shooting of the movie there.

It is actually very bad service from Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife that I was not notified when making the reservation about the "ban" on launching into the river for that period!
