Mtera Dam, Tanzania

It looks like I might go up close to Mtera Dam on a business trip and wondered if it would worth the effort taking a spinning on fly outfit?

It's fed by the Great Ruaha River and Kisigo River, so there must be tigers, tilapia etc in the dam. But I'm not sure how the commercial fishing has impacted on the dam.

Any advice would be great...

So I didn't take any tackle with, just as well as I didn't get much time off but will share some pics.

There are most def tigers and quite a few species of tilapia in the reservoir...more like a lake...
