Hi all, just a short word from up at the lodge. The water is pretty cold, as all would expect, but the blue water seems to have come back on the reef off Inhambane, especially when it blows NE.
Water in the Estuary seems even colder, down to 20. Not much to report. Even the locals are getting hungry!
Water temp is 24 at the top of the reef, dropping to 23 at the south side. Wind is south, then north, then back to south, etc.
Some YF Tuna around. Some sards, not many birds.
Waiting for September, been quite cold this winter, even for up here- I even had to put long pants on the other night! Not a lot else going on right now.....
