On the way back from a boat delivery trip, I made a stop at the small craft slip in Mossel Bay and saw what must be the toilet with the best view in the world.

I do this as one of my retirement hobbies.

The owner also had problems with one of the gearboxes a while ago. Pushing an 11 meter Lee cat around with a shark cage on the back problably took its strain on the out mount.

For interest sake, those are the motors that came off the 25ft Cape craft "John Ross".

Seeker1, can you move a 26ft Buttcat from Mossel Bay to Houtbay storage yard?

Hhahahahahaaa ........ Alan tell him you can. Load the Bantam on the Butt and skipper it back to Hout Bay. You can store the extra fuel needed in the back of the bakkie !

No need for extra fuel....2x180 liter built-in tanks and 2x115hp Mercury 4 strokes. What about the trailer? Will he be able to tow that with the bantam?

Trailer should be ok,  but to tow the butt and be legal you would need a small truck.

I've got the licence if you have a truck

Going up that way again in the morning to collect two outboards from Knysna.
