Depends on the species u targeting , the area and conditions . If fishing in a gully with working water chasing the likes of the humble black tail , flicking a worm on a quarter once jig head and just let the surge push it around in and out of the strike zone is normally enough to get a pull - just make sure u always have contact with your jig head ( don't have a big bow in your Line ) in working water just use it like u would a piece if bait .
In calmer flatter conditions u will normally need to impart some action into the worm , get it down to the bottom , give it a couple sharp short lifts and let it settle back down again .
Berkley gulp is pretty much bait in a plastic form , it doesn't take much to get a fish to bite .
Best of luck
