Tradition is a nasty inert force and up to now (for tournaments) the Angolan Sports Fishing Federation did'nt even allow life bait, chunking or chumming, engines stopped. That changes with the kick off of next seasons tournament fishing in October 2010. The Federation now allows all techniques except jigging.

Jan you are wright again, it was too easy, we were getting the bait at the final fishing ground what is impossible here in Luanda.

All the the time we were fishing bait (mackerel) and also fishing our target species (Tuna) in the same spot, let's see, here we will have to fish bait, move and only then the target species.

P.S. - This time I'll see the game in my own home, am in Luanda again.

Hi guys. Sorry my absence while in RSA but internet was on holiday also.

Again a wonderfull webforum Sealine is. Allowed me to meet two other fellow anglers which is always a pleasure.

This little fishing experience was much more than that as my friend Mike (Fishing Adventures) confirmed me that South Africans are truly gentlemen guys. Took us fishing but also to all tackle shops in Durban, to the Gladiator Lures factory and even to bennies house for introductions. Sent me and Fedu to a very nice Bed and Breakfast... took good care of us.

If I could I'd recommend his charter as he knows very well what he is doing. Thanks again Mike!
