Yo d- man

I go alot to Macasar\monwabisi with my opel 200is with 14" rims and 40mm drop (so the car is very low) and I have never got stuck in the sand

all you need to do is to drive where it's hard

I also know of a couple of other guys that drives all sorts of cars

uno 1100's, mazda 323, datsun 1200

So at the end on the day if you stick to the hard groud you shouldn't have any pob's ^^..

peace

The road is usually fine to drive with most cars, only bad spots are just after the sewerage outlet and closer to the fence.
Can get really bad after a heavy storm or after a couple of days of HEAVY south easter though.
Just dont even think about pulling too far off the harder part of the road though.

A nissan 1400 is rather light though, so you should'nt
have a problem.
I have gone as far as the fence in my 1300 toyota plenty times.

Hi D-man. Been to Macs over the past three weeks and I've seen some cars with lowered suspension and low profile tires driving around. Quiet a few opel bukkies have been around.....so at the moment the road is fine. Just becareful because things can change over night. If the wind comes up then its best to seek a second opinion. Ya I agree the road is bad after the sewage outlet. At the moment you should be good to go::S

Hey Long Line Francois. The fishing is good at the moment. There are some stumps around and I've read on this site that guys are catching some good gallies(45cm). All the fish are comming out on blood worm. In terms of non eds I got a beaut 20kg spotties two weekends ago. There are a few bronzies around but I haven't had any luck

More likely to make sure nobody steals his 1400!  My dad has an old Datsun 1600 and you won't believe where we managed to get through with it.
