Modifying a sinker mould

I would like your oppion on this. I have a mould that makes 3,4 and 5 oz bottle sinkers. I would like to drill some holes in it so that I can make nylon grapnels. I would like to know if you think that it would work and maybe some advice would also be appreciated.

Ps grapnell moulds are too expensive to buy individually

rather drill out the top section bigger add wires to it and you got the old type wire grabs they easier to make.The mould tends to be too thin walled for a nylon grap .
