howzit guys
been down to mzamba this weekend with some guys from the club. did not fish but- this place looks serious. directions from Reefman 100% thanks. parking looks suspect(very). on our way out spoke to main security @ wild coast ,says no one allowed to fish mzamba without permission/permit from a 'Mr Botha' @ the resort.need to investigate this as mzamba looks real good.only parking a problem. beach only 50m from parking.sheesh takes long typing with one finger

LOL @Clive - don't worry bru, we all started typing with 1 finger, but after about 12 years, I graduated to 2 fingers!! YEAH!

Keep us posted with developments. It seems that wherever one goes fishing nowdays, you have to hire a security guard for the carpark. St Lucia... Durban... Transkei.

thats it new career - open a company called outdoor secruity - provice secruity services to fisherman - need to talk to SARS get it tax deductable for the fisherman as it promotes jobs and contributes to postive economic growth - mind the tackle I own and bought over the years I am sure equals a small countrys GDP grin - ask my wife she can confirm that - woman buy shoes I buy fishing tackle lol

Here is a mail from the Secretary of the KZNCAU regarding Mnyameni :

Hi Guys 

It has been brought to my attention that two clubs experienced trouble at Mnyameni campsite on the first evening of the last Postal Competition (Friday night 20-07-2007). Their guards were held up at gun-point and their vehicles were broken into. A gang of about 8 males smashed windows of the vehicles and canopies, slashed tents and generally ransacked the camp, searching, taking cell phones and money. It seems that clothes, food, fishing tackle and liquor were a bonus. The one club’s losses are estimated to be about R30 000 and that is not taking into account of the other club’s losses that were also at this campsite. It believed that it is a gang operating out of the Mzamba / Mlulwan area. Please be aware of the situation when decisions to fish/stay at this campsite in the future.

Can you help with any Google pics of Mazzeppa bay, willbe going there 22 Sept for 2 weeks. Any advice about the area, fishing will be welcome.Thanks
