One of 2 caught yesterday in about 35m of water on occie leg...Needless to say they box proper on light braid. One was a recapture from last year, this time caught at a different reef about 5km away from where it was caught the previous year. Both released to fight another day.Sharks kept hassling us when we stayed a bit long at a spot,so we had to keep moving. The fishing on these far out reefs are definitely better this year than last,it pays to catch and release.Loads of juvenile Red Steenbras which I was glad to see, with the occasional reaaly big Roman in between. The one thing that has been scarce are Kob,definitely not in the same numbers as the year before.Livebait went untouched wherever we went, with the exception of the sharks nailing them on the way up.
