Really lazy Saturday, serviced a couple of reels ,then got persuaded to go cat hunting till dark.Nothing happened that is,,,until virtually dark, spotted a few "moustaches" surfacing every now and then at a particular spot. Laaitie did the dash, down, crawl, observe, sights ,fire thing, and was on like a scone.Obviously when he landed it the whole charade was over and no more mr whiskers,(I need some excuse) LOL

Fishton/Deon

,I honestly dont know what it is called, it may be a Norman's knock-off,but not the DD22,that has a longer lip .This one has a chartreuse belly, green back ,red below the lip which is moulded as part of the  lure, not a transparent plastic lip, like the regular Norman's Rapala's etc. This one's lip is maybe half the length opf the DD22.

Fishton, I bet this has also happened to you in your illustrious bassing career, you give a child/friend/newbie one of your "less favorite" lures not wanting them to lose,or break your favorites ,and guess what happens ,    right,   they get the fish on that mickey mouse lure.

Thanks Deisil, damn right I am. I must admit though ,I have allways derived a great amount of pleasure out of helping someone else catch fish. Now imagine if I could get money for that hmmm. Maybe coupled with a degree/diploma in tourism,my son can do that in 10 years time ,think he'll hire me as a driver.?Ever heard of a guide smacking his client for wanting to keep a fish, remember the face in the first post.:fbash
