Might be true after these few SE's. Pity the bloody wind report has changed again. Sat was looking good to go but no more for a 14ft.

Ek sien die weer lyk goed vir volgende Donderdag of Vrydag en Dinsdag is donkermaan, dink jy die vis sal dan weer 'n slag hul gesig wys daarso?

Hiya Peks!!

Sorry for the absence. Just been sooo busy snoek fishin' over the last few weeks, haven't had much time to post.

Luckily for me, i've been FORCED to take a break off the water. Decided to walk right THROUGH my glass sliding door at home!! 60 stitched to the inside of the wound and another 40 stitched to close up the wound on my leg............. Looks like i'll have some free time over the next two weeks to catch up on things on the forum!!! Oh well, could've been MUCH worse!!

Regards

Hi Miles!Wishing you speedy recovery!

We've still got teeth marks on our patio glass door courtesy of a visitor wanting to leave her mementos of her visit.

Interval at Movies in Muizies:Every Sat nite like clockwork,Moviegoer sprints out of movies into shop next door to buy weekend argus to suss motorcycles for sale. This particular sat nite, glass doors were closed to keep wind out.

He got an ambulance for transport instead of any motorbike, and missed the second feature movie.

I reckon a simple sticker, like no smoking type sticker, would be a good preventative measure.

cheers!

Hi Miles, just want to know, did it happen during the day or late at night ?::SLOL.

Sondag en vandag see baie rof. Maar hul sal binnekort weer hul verskyning maak.

Yes well I always say some okes are punished immediately :-D

I just hope it was you who did the chasing ;-) Get well, I collect your pictures, and I don't like waiting :-D

And more, you Capetonians must come right, the sooner the better. We are getting some cold weather AGAIN - what the heck are you guys doing down there :-o

Should have given me the Dexter I'll cut it right off and give you a wooden one.
Sink a couple of holes in the deck for ya and you'll be sturdy as ever.

Now I don't want to alarm you Cap'n Pegleg but we need to get cracking on the boat, the time she is a ticking and those short sticks are an itching.

Miles, when you fix that door, consider perspex instead. It's 10x stronger than glass and no such accidents. Also a lot lighter than glass, but more expensive.

What a bad experience eh.

Get well soon! My son ran into a sliding door a couple of weeks ago. Luckily it didn't break and we was just a bit embarrassed. I nearly had a heart attack!!
