Hi All

haven't been on Sealine for a while, been really busy these last few months.

Thought I share a few pics of another one of our Mihanzi Vaal Dam trips.

I really enjoy taking the family to this venue and it really is one of the best venues around the Vaal

My whole family enjoys the outdoors and going fishing and I love spending time with them at this place

We went camping there for the weekend again just before winter was in full force and the weather was amazing!

Now that the summer is on it's way back we will definitely be visiting them again soon....

I really hope and pray for some rain though as the Vaal is really looking empty at this stage

anyways, here are some pics as promised

Nice post . Nothing better than spending time with the kids and teaching them to fish.
They'll always remember these days.

We fished a social comp at Mihanzi, had an absolute blast.

Only problem is getting stuck in the sand. Have you figured a way around it :cool:?

We usually go to the far right side and cross over the sand bank right opposite the last toilet. That's just before those wooden chalets...

We also almost got stuck in the sand there two weeks ago, with the dam level dropping so much and so fast it makes it difficult unless you have a proper 4x4

I must say Mihanzi is definitely one of my favorite spots at the Vaal

I see you also go fishing at the R50 dam?

Also, nice place to take the family for the day!

I live about 15 minutes away from R50.
A difficult dam to fish but definitely some nice fish also come out from there.

Mihanzi is my favorite venue on the Vaal...
Will definitely be going there soon
