Howzit Gents

Just a quick Update on our trip.

Started off extremely wet on the Thursday we arrived at Mihanzi. Camp was setup and around 18h00 rods went in only casting distance. A few fish was landed 19h00 till 11pm.
Friday morning markers went out with some feed about 120m.
So one rod at the marker and the other around 80m. Picked up more fish around 80m. 120m was slow.

So we ended up well over 110kg of fish(lost count eventually)among 4 of us from Thursday till Sunday lunch time.

Baits : FX floaties / Koo Mielies/Banjo Floaties
Dips : FX/Vicks/Lootie/Tjop Tjop/
Water level 33%
Level raised 2.5m from Thursday to Sunday

Some pics to follow

Another AWESOME trip to Mihanzi.
As usual Mihanzi produced again. What a brilliant
place for SAFE fishing and excellent Facility's.

::tight:

Thanx for the report and the pics, I was curious about how the bank at Mihanzi looks, getting stuck can be a shlep if you're not driving a big bakkie like in my case. How was the gravel road, muddy?

Hi. Oh Yes extremely muddy. It was raining on that Thursday while we where driving. We camped about 25m away from the water as we just could not get the bakkie and trailers down any closer , way too wet and chances of getting bogged in was a definite. Bit of a marathon each time you get a reel run but Hint Hint some of us need the exercise in my Team ;). By Saturday things got a lot better after having blistering hot sunshine.
