Mid week fishing trip

Are you hitting roodeplaat on your sports day again LGF?

 

I am thinking of doing a mid week trip to roodeplaat. Anybody keen on joining me?

Man, I'd love to and have started talking about to the Boss this morn, however, it might not be all that possible as the only day that I might be able to go is Friday as we have a Massive Social event "Wintergames" at work and fishing is on the programme, however the Boss has other plans and then the kid is also only gettingout of school late in the afternoon which means that if I do get to go it will only be for perhaps the last two hours of daylight.  If so then I'd much rather save the brownie points for an entire day's hunting, also the entrance fee is going to be R101-00 and that for a mere two hours just doesn't seem right.

Saturday I can't go as it is off to the Tight Lines Expo and Sunday I'm sure that I'll have to spend some time with Boss.

Will however keep you in mind if again I get something organized for a midweek trip.

I've told Johanvc, exactly where the honeypot is:op:: remember not to fish with anything even remotely resembling TNT, Nitroglycerine, etc. :swearNothing that makes BOOM, as I still need to get bigger PB's from there.....:headb:fst::shut::

Dear Captain Crime Stop, I hereby forward you the details of a member of Our family that seems to be in possession of some explosives and much worse who intends to use it or some harmless little green fish....:swearPls arrest him strap the dynamite to his body and drop him down an unused mine shaft.....:lol:1

Ok so we went and we back. All we could see where Barbells. And some really BIG ONES IF I MIGHT SAY SO. We only encountered 3 LGF 2 of about 200grams but they were chased away by the barbells and then one of about a kg but he was not interested. Wind was blowing and was not very pleasant. There were other guys fishing your spot as well LGF but they also did not get anything. We fished that whole bay with different lures and nothing only some mermaids well a whole lot of them

What can I say other than tough luck, thats Roodeplaat perhaps, anyhows, thought I'd take some pictures of the killer lures we used on Sat and also the lures that helped me break my hard bait curse.....

Johanvc, I told you this afternoon that when the wind picked up them LGF's dissapeared, we couldn't see them nut we still managed to hook the odd one or two every now and then.
