Mr. Manito is 1.68m tall and he says we was a bit buried in the sand with the weight of the cob :)

I can't see the angler, that's huge.

If angler is 1.68m, I would say that kob is at least a conservative 1.70m. Assuming its a silver kob that will give you around 50kg

"Southern Meagre" says the FAO species book on Angolan fisheries: 200cm max published weight 71 kgs at an age of 30 years... ( only problem: Fishbase says it's endemic to the indopacific! Argirosomus hololepidotus ) . Who cares: F.A.O. says it's that fish and it's of commercial importance in Angola:

Manic Mechanic Manito's fish should have well 1,70 forklenght and he feeds the extended family 60kgs finest filets for at least a month.

Well: Manito's fish is anything but meagre! My profound congratulations!

I revise my previous guess: if Albert ( 1,97 m ) holds a 32,2kgs in his hands here... Manito will be stemming a fish well 25% heavier, make that good 45 kgs.
