im glad you got something out of them in that office... dude i have been trying to get a quote out of them for weeks and they just keep sending me rubbish. I ended up calling them the other day, yes from the UK... and i was told "eish i have so many emails to look at" didnt go down to well with me...

if u use the "search" box just type mapelane and there is some good reading there!

Your going to be there before me so let me know how it goes and if i hear anything il pm u!

There has been a bit of shad and garrick around. And I have also seen quite a few pompano's coming out. Offshore we ran into a shoal off sards last Sat and killed the snoek. Plenty snoek around the point. The odd crock cuta on the deep reef. Divers also speared some cuta off lighthouse last week. 20kg prodigal was caught off the point last sat. Hope that helps. You guys going deep or r&s? Will prob go again next weekend so might have more info then

Was up there this weekend. The surf conditions were great, just a bit windy. we fished the ledges to the south of crayfish point. The only decent fish to come out was a cock gunter of 2.7kg. there were plenty of shad in the bay at crayfish, but mainly small (32-36cm). good fun on drift baits though!
