Mapelane spearing

Howzit guys

A mate and I are planning a dive at Mapelane tomorrow (thursday). We targetting snoek. It'll be a shore dive.

I have a few concerns regarding the sharks there. I've heard they are big and plentiful, but are they aggressive? I'm worried because my neighbour nearly got eaten there a few years ago by a black eyed point nosed shark

I don't have a shark pod, and neither does my mate. I'm just nervous about bumping into a big, aggressive, nasty, peeved off zambi or similar. I've never dived there before, but my mate has and he admits there are some big sharks there, along with big fish

What you guys think? Am I getting concerned over nothing or what?

Sharks plentiful on the pinnacle at the moment and also aroung the Mfolozi mouth. Saw some big nunus there last week.
Howeve they are not plentiful on the snoekreefs in front of crayfish corner. You should be more concerned about good viz. Good Vis only on after sustained South westerlies
