magic forest bottom dam

hi i am fishing magic forest bottom dam for carp on sunday agin,is there anyone that can plz help me with the best bait and maybe a spot.whats the biggest carp in there and what other species are there plz help.

Those dams are closed. No fishing allowed.

Carp ,big barbel ,bass ,blue gills and some kurpers around.
The dam is supposed to be closed,but that doesnt seem to bother all the locals that fish there!
Try the grassy side of the dam.had lots of luck with live blue gills for barbel or even fillets on a 2/0 hook.For carp use sweet flavours if the water is warm peach ,vanilla etc.Cold water calls for mint ,xxx ,rum etc.

Thanks,but I never had a problem there with the law enforcement and I never litter or do anything wrong so hopefully as long as I keep my side clean they won't bother me.do u perhaps know what the biggest carp in the bottom dam is.

So true!keep your side clean!never got big fish in the bottom dam,that one is over crowded with small one from 5cm to 30cm!you do get the odd 2kg ones.Try the top dam for the bigger ones they are fewer but nice and strong!seen fish of between 3 - 5kg.

Have you ever tried that big dam just before lower magics?caught monster carp there!my 2 biggest carp caught there,6kg and 9kg!just find out what the situation is there regarding permits etc!

PS-loads of bass there!!

U talking about doordekraal dam I caught my pb of 12kg in that dam and lost monster carp there.
