Only used the big sizes 10/0 and 11/0, they are SHARP!

Very nice hooks, everytime I go buy more the price goes up, so I'm guessing they wont be such a bargain forever.

Prices are stable for a while now and don't forsee increase much this season as the USD is stable.

It is distributed by Sensation and they have launched the new Pro Series hooks, SOI, Kendal, Gun and Baitholders. Price great for the quality you are getting

Hi there,ja those hooks are great and lekka sharp I use them for targeting eddies,I had a few bend open tho but I don't mind as I don't fish for non eds with them great hooks well priced and ja they take forever to corrode, just watch asd I had a point break off now and then!

That is always a risk on fine pointed high carbon steel hooks when fishing among rocks.

It's a good idea, irrespective of brand and price of him to always inspect the hook point while tenacity, especially when fishing in among rocks.

Been using these for a while now. very sharp and they havent failed on me yet. caught some spottys on them as well. My whole j-hook collection in my tacklebox is these lynx hooks.

Another brand that i have started using lately is the MARUTO brand. Especially the the size 18's. works perfect for the sandies here by us on the west coast. very very sharp.

Anyone else use them?

As and eds hook it's purrfect. I guess any in-ed over 30kg will most probapbly open the hook. A flattfish will give that hook a good workout.

I've been using the 3/0 last yr and only trying the 5/0 this season as I cud not get stock

Maruto is a top Japanese hook of super grade wire and I doubt the prices of the 2 Maruto vs Linx are anywhere near to comparable.

paid R12.50 for a pack of 10 size 18's at Suburban about a month ago.
The lynx ranged from R7.50 to R18.50

Maybe they got a deal on them or Maybe Maruto brought out a cheaper range.

Here is what one pays internationally on Maruto ($1 = R10.90)
so. For a 2/0 pack $2.75 you'd be paying R30 excl 14% VAT so closer to R33.50 incl VAT

I've used this hook for a while till the day i hooked in to what i reckon was  steenbrass and lost it (surf), the hook opened up and looked like a needle! Will never touch them again I swore.

Been using the 6/0 's this year for shad and they are my first choice now when fishing shad. Caught a couple of over 50cm this season and not One fish lost on them.

Impressive on the 50cm Shad...

I'm going back to get some more of these hooks b4 the price goes up in Summer...
