Lures for Largemouth Yellows

Any suggestions on what lures work best when trolling for LM Yellows?

Gonna be fishing the lower vaal.

has anyone got any suggestions about what lures to use? or is it the usual culprits, salmos, effzetts, rapalas etc???

Klein bruin loodkop, anders enige van die wikkel kunsasies werk goed. Kry een wat nie te diep swem nie anders is jy heel tyd op die bodem en in die klippe. 'n Goeie all rounder is natuurlik die Bagley's Baby Bass. Geelvis hou nie van bass nie en sort daai klein bassie tjop tjop uit.

Rapala jointed Shadrap. Or something similar, you want a lure with a bigger profile or so i understand

Cool, will be trying these out in about two weeks time for our next show insert. Cant wait to get all the tackle together, some lightweight stuff will be going along too

i got two nice lm yellows on the rapala shad rap. casting from the boat towards sand banks and other structure. hope that helps

I have been fishing in and around Parys for 20 years . The Rebel fire tiger grasshopper is absolutly deadly Biggest LM Yellow 11.8 KG and plenty in the 3kg class . 800m upsteam from diamalichite border is a beatiful hole, fast flowing water into a deep pool
