Hi everyone,i have at last made my first lure(special thanks to all on this forum for tips and show hows).

My lure looks real nice(to me),swims ok but when i bring it in faster it swims side ways.i have experimented with weights,but i think my problem is the overall shape of my "sinking" lure.is there a set rule on shape? i think there is an attached pic included.

thanks Fanie,i tried it this afternoon but it didnt work,so i will just try and make the next ones with a more rounded appearance.

Brilliant! That should sort it out!



First, what is the body of the lure made of?
What is it's dimensions?
The body looks a bit deep for it's length?
How much does it weigh and how much of that is lead?
Way too many variables when it comes to lure building...

It is pretty though!

Ek het daai 50/50 fast cast plastiek ,en ook polyester resin gebruik,

dimensies is 70lx20bx30h,

weeg omtrent 28g waarvan 6g lood voor in die pens is.

Ek het wel gister bietjie rondgespeel met n rugvin,en dit lyk of ek n mate van sukses gehad het.

None of my hand made stuff there yet, but watch this space... I do plan on offering some of my stuff as and when I make stuff. Every lure will be a one off and will be individually build, balanced etc on a one by one bases. Each lure will be priced according to the amount of work that goes into it.
