Can anyone tell me if a Lowrance hds8 runs with a cmax card or do I have to buy a navionics?
I have used the cmax in my furuno gp7000 with no issues but when fitting it to the lowrance I get no mapping.
Lowrance only gives an option of a lowrance card or Navionics card to be used on installation.
I was however sold the cmax a few years ago by a dealer saying that they are the same thing.
If I have to get a Navionics, which one do I get- gold or platinum? Or should I be looking at something else altogether for the Lowrance hds machine?
I only really use this machine on the lower kzn south coast.
