In Dec last year we bought a Lowrance 5300 GPS but got them through my cousin in the USA due to the 1/2 price issue. Well this weekend, it packed up. I switches on etc, but most of hte marks have dissapeared, it says no memory space, yet shows only 25% used, it is very slow and wont keep your tracks etc. A bit annopying. We spoke to ther lowrance guys and they were incredibly helpfull in trying to sort out the problem, but it didnt work.
Anyone know how to go about sorting out an imported unit that is still under warantee. any advice will be appreciated.
I suppose now is when you curse for not paying more and getting it here in SA.
