Lowrance - GPS Not responding

^^.. Please Help.....I bought my boat in march this year and when I tested the GPS got the message - GPS not responding...I sent the gps unit to Lowrance and they replaced at cost with a new unit, when I plugged in new unit same problem. I have tried soft reset hard reset taking out card checking that WAAS is switched off...short of a hammer dont know what else to do........

Is there a techie out there(Pretoria Area) that can help as I dont know what to do anymore and got a trip booked to richards bay on the 19th November....with no gps should be fun....

the Lowrance unit is a LMS337c and gps unit is a 3000^^.. Please help

The quickest and easiest way to get to the bottom of your problem is to find someone else that has an LMS or LCX system using either the LGC3000 or LGC2000 receiver and swop over display units. You will soon see where the source of your problem is. ;)

Lowrance said I must check the fuses from power to unit if the fuse is faulty will also give no signal error.....will keep you posted

Had the same issue with mine and the problem was the power supply to the GPS receiver was not connected.The unit and receiver must have a 12v supply.

CHECK THE WIRES TO THE BATTERY THERE ARE 3  WIRES , MAKE SURE THE WHITE WIRE IS ALSO CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY , THAT WILL GIVE POWER TO THE GPS UNIT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON MINE

Lowrance has the unit and gps module if it gets a clean bill of health will make sure wiring is correct will keep you posted  :fishn

As die lugdraad nie bekoppel is nie of die draad van die lugdraad is erens af of die antenna is stukked dan kan jou GPS ook nie werk nie. Ek sou eerstens 'n ander lugdraad koppel en seker maak of dit wel die instrument is wat die probleem gee. Dis ouens sit dalk nou met 'n GPS wat niks makeer nie.
