Lower Zambezi

Hi guys. I would like to know if it is possible to go to the lower Zambezi in the beginning of February and which lodges you would suggest. It will probably be very hot that time of the year. From what I have read on the internet the lower Zambezi differs a lot from the Upper as far as best times to fish is concerned. I would also like to stay in a lodge where the game viewing form the boat is also very good ( for the wife's sake... ). Any info will be much appreciated.

Lodges open only in April - they cannot get in and out of camps due to mud and the rainy season before then. Best time is post August and prior to the first rains - November

Hi MB, I live and work in Lusaka. Best time is September to November, but you can fish throughout the year. September to November is very hot on the river. I frequently go to Redcliff. Game viewing is great as well.
