Lotto funding

Our church runs a soup kitchen and applied to Lotto for funds to replace equipment etc,they agreed to R300 000.00
,now here comes the jaw dropping head scratching confused look moment,the funds have a condition attached,R200 000.00 must go to salaries,in other words they must create a few temporary jobs and when that money is finished they must be fired.

Also in the paper today they want to pass a bill that funds will be granted to NPOs on a BEE system ,ie those that provide only for blacks will get 100% funding etc and so it will go down the line NPOs that help whites will be bottom of the ladder ,and here I thought rascism was dead,silly me

Oh well, no more lotto for me....not that it will make much difference or that many of our "brilliant" politicians will care, looting state coffers is far more important to many of them.....:sa:

I have only taken one or two in my life ,very suspisciuos of these big winners,methinks when the winning gets too big they come up with this one winner but the money goes into their own pockets
