Looking for Rod Holder?

Hi Guys,

I bought a set of rod holders this weekend and just thought i'd share this with you, if anybody is looking for some.....

I bought them at Texwise in StrydomPark Randburg at R180 each

I see this is an old post, but did the plastic rod holders last? I am thinking about buying some Scotty Orcas, but am worried about them pulling straight whilst towing heavy lures or hard fish strikes. I had a set of Berkleys which would strip the splines in the base and pull straight towing a big halso or kona, ending up in cross overs and tangled lines.

Are the Scottys the same or are they as good as they say?

Scotty's are great for general game fishing. Been using them for years. But check out the Cabela ones from Cabelas. They are the exact same but will cost you less even with shipping. If you do go that rout I also want another 2 so will share shipping costs with you.
