Looking for great intermediate wf line about 5w something that has very little memory and won’t break the bank.

What brand would you suggest ?

If possible, buy one of the well known brands otherwise you will frustrate yourself. After trying cheaper lines, I went back to Cortland.

Check out the UK made Barrio Fly Lines (Google it) - even with the current exchange rate they are good value. Quality, low memory lines - you won't be sorry!

You must order the Barrio Fly lines directly from Mike Barrio on the website (as I said Google Barrio Fly lines or go to:http://www.flylineshop.com/

Mike is a nice, helpful guy - postage is included and you will be able to pick up the envelope with your fly line from your local post office in 2 - 3 weeks.

For Intermediate lines go for an Airflo line with a 6th sense non stretch core. Cant go wrong with these.

I know Cortland Fairplay is regarded as entry level line but it's really good value for money and with the rocket taper you can really get distance without much effort.
Retails for about R300.
