Good day All,

I've been fishing the good old 'Pap gooi" fishing way for as long as I've been fishing. I'm 23 and started fishing specimen lately and seem to struggling with rigs and presentation. When I reel in my rigs the whole thing is in a shambles.

But this is only when I cast.Still saving up for that rubber duck.

Is there something that i can do to avoid the knots and make sure the rigs sit properly?

howzit bud,look to shorten the length of your hooklink....also try use a stiffer hooklink.suffix has a stiff silt,amazing stuff...when i cast i usually slow down the rig mid air when it gets close to the spot im targeting.this helps straightening the whole rig before it hits the water.if the situation calls for longer hooklinks start using pva mesh.thread your hooklink into the mesh(length wise) that youve obviously filled with stick mix or whatever your preference,that way the hooklink stays straight.just remember that if you thread your hooklink you dont thread big chunks of boilie or tigernut or even maize onto it,thats why i prefer using fine stickmix or ground up particles and boilies.hope this is of any help.my 2cents

If you look a the top of the Specimen section you'll notice "Sticky" posts. There's 2 about specimen rigs and their construction.

Do what mrcicket said, it's good advice. Also look into helicopter rigs, which is an anti-tangle presentation.
