limited fishing spots at struben dam

Hi everyone,
I am new here and I just want to know why "friends at struben" have put signs up that say "no fishing beyond this point" ?:imnew

To give the birds in tha area space for breeding is what I heard. Now you have to be there aerly. If you sit on "wall" side it is relatively easy to cast to most spots around the island.

Fishing is allowed there no matter what "friends" of struben say.

Fishing is allowed, yes, but only at certain areas/spots.

Thanks guys,
because I saw a carp of about 10kg's jumping in the north western corner of the dam, just a shame i could not reach it with my cast.
So "friends of struben" cost me a fish!
